Autism Friendly Cinema Showings 

Dimensions offer Autism Friendly Screenings at over 250 cinemas in partnership with Cineworld, ODEON, Showcase and Vue cinemas.

Every month, each participating cinema shows a different film from a selection of new releases and classics suitable for all age ranges.

Cineworld host an Autism Friendly Film at 11:00am on the 1st Sunday of every month, at over 70 participatingcinemas across the UK.
Showcase Cinemas and Cinemas De Luxe host Autism Friendly Screenings at 10:00am every 2nd Sunday of the month, at all their cinemas across the UK.
ODEON Cinemas host an Autism Friendly Screening 11:30am on a chosen Sunday each month, at over 90 ODEON cinemas across the UK.
Vue Cinemas will host an Autism Friendly Film at 10:00am on the last Sunday of every month, at 78 cinemas nationwide.


Leisure Reductions

The Max card (for parent/carers) is Cardiff Council’s leisure discount card, available to all residents of Cardiff who receive benefits including carer’s benefit.

Max is an annual card which offers:

· discounts off varied leisure activities eg theatre

· up to 50% at Council owned facilities

· up to 30% at a number of private partners

Cost £2.00, application form from leisure centres, libraries etc


Cinema Exhibitors' Association Card 

The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA), formerly the Cinema Exhibitors' Association (CEA). The scheme was introduced in 2004 and is one of the ways for participating cinemas to ensure they make reasonable adjustments for disabled guests when they go to the cinema; in particular it ensures a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them.

This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.  Cost £6 per year https://www.ceacard.co.uk/

Theatre Access Cards 

Hynt is a national access scheme working with a network of theatres and arts centres across Wales. All Hynt cardholders are entitled to a ticket free of charge for their companion, carer or personal assistant.

Hynt is managed in partnership by Creu Cymru and Diverse Cymru and all administration of the scheme is completed independently of Wales Millennium Centre.
