There are an increasing number of sports clubs that cater for people with autism.We are keen to add to this list, so please let us know of any other appropriate sports ,music and arts clubs in the region. There is a also a quarterly newsletter issued jointly by Cardiff and the Vale Family Information Services . They have articles including any new clubs that may be setting up .To receive this you have to register on the Families First Disability Index .The Index is to ensure that families of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs are kept up to date with relevant information which may be beneficial. It also assists service providers in planning their services for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. These 90 minute sessions allow the young people taking part to increase social confidence and to learn and develop new or existing animation skills in a supportive, creative environment. Each session can stand alone or be part of a larger scheme of work, as individual learning programmes can be created by experienced animation staff. Places are limited each week.
